The Truth on The Trinity, Superman, and Biblical Reincarnation

The Truth on The Trinity, Superman, and Biblical Reincarnation

In case you other readers didn't catch my comment on the blog-post that asked (in so many words), "What do you think of the Trinity?" I'll repeat it here.

Meditation reveals that God is not so much 'one part of a machine' as He is 'the whole machine.' I compared the God-idea to The Big Company: The Father, the founding CEO, created ... everything;

He put the laws, rules and principles of His Creation into a supernatural document, Who goes by the name "Holy Spirit"; the son, the to-be-CEO, runs the company by the rules, laws and principles in Holy Spirit (Who thus validates the Father God's existence).

If you remember Superman (I), you might see how that's an almost-exact metaphor for the Trinity (as I describe it).

Superman Returns (here's the 'SPOILER') almost verifies this view and my idea of 'biblical reincarnation' when Superman tells his son the same thing his father Jorel had told him, "Now the son lives in the father, the father in the son; you will see the world through my eyes, and I will see the world through yours."

'Biblical reincarnation' is (as you can guess) the carrying-on of a parent's name and ideas. I might even go so far as to say that the men (early in the Bible) who are described as 'living for hundreds of years' might actually be a series of eldest sons carrying that name until a falling-out cut that tradition.

The government doesn't want to promote that (though they might generalize it as "childbirth") as something "extra" to initiate--i.e. they don't want men going out of their way to impregnate women, but would rather have them contributing to society as usual (and just impregnating their wives because that's what happens when married people sleep together! wink-wink;-))--and that's why homosexual marriage is 'not legalized.'

The Trinity...

another point of view - another way of putting a point of view across - Superman,indeed!

I don't mind your not minding

Good, thanks -- non-defensiveness is so refreshing, and sez a lot about you. I like the question you asked me. I think it's better than any answer I could come up with so I will just let it be. So, you are calling me an average thinker? Ha -- nice jab! I wouldn't want anyone to expect more. Take care MythMan, hope to talk to you again soon. www.joesnare.com

I Don't Mind It at All

'Meditation reveals ...' is just my way of saying "The Flying Spagetti Monster told me that ..." Are 'you' (the average thinker) more likely to believe that I sat down and thought of something, or that I'm on FSM's speed-dial? - Call me J, MythMan J

And?

Well, maybe I'm just cranky after a long day's work. Or maybe your font size made me cranky. I had best stick to commenting on the writing -- I understand the position you're presenting, but for what reason should I find any personal meaning in it? When you say, "meditation reveals..." I ask, to whom does it reveal this thing -- to you, to people you personally know, or to everybody (are you omniscient, and is that why we should care about your wisdom)? I'll stop there; hope you don't mind the critique. www.joesnare.com
