The world's best peanut butter frosting!

I was up late one night making a peanut-butter cup birthday cake for my boyfriend's 21st birthday and I really wanted to add a creamy peanut butter icing to the middle of the cake, but of course its nearly impossible to find at the grocery store, so I had to improvise and what I came up with was the best tasting peanut butter icing I've ever tasted! I had to keep myself from eating the entire bowl...and the best part is, it takes 2 minutes to make!

To make this icing, you will need:

1 package of softened cream cheese
1/2 stick of softened butter
1 cup of confectionery sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2/3 cup of smooth peanut butter (more or less depending on your taste)

All you need to do is cream the cream cheese and butter together, add the confectionery sugar, salt, vanilla extract and peanut butter, and mix on medium-high until combined into a creamy icing! Don't be afraid to add ingredients to your liking. If you want it a little sweeter, add more sugar. If you find it is too sweet, just add another pinch of salt. This icing is really delicious if you add chopped peanuts to it and make it a crunchy icing for your cake also!
