There Will Be Blood Review

There Will Be Blood Review

I would love to be able to give a wonderful and complete review of this movie; however, as I could not make it through more than the first hour and twenty minutes, the review will not be truly complete. I respect the talent of the majority of people involved in the making of this movie, and the acting and cinematography were great. The problem lied in the pace of the movie. It was so slow-moving that it just couldn't hold my interest. I have seen slow paced movies before, so it is not that I require constant action to enjoy a movie. I think it was when I was an hour and twenty minutes into this movie and realized there was another hour and twenty minutes to go that I gave up. Unless you have two hours and forty minutes to spare, I recommend finding something better to do with your time.

Great Movie

I have to disagree, I thought There Will Be Blood was a fantastic movie. It is slow but I knew that going in. Daniel Day Lewis proves his genius once again with the Daniel Plainview role.
