“They are mine…….give them back!”

Oh thou God! Oh though Ethereal Emperor!

The temporal proclaim you the Creator, their everything,

I’ve heard them say, You are the Master Architect,

I’ve heard them say, You are the Master Script writer,

I’ve heard them say, You are the ‘kindest of the kind’,

I’ve heard them say, You are behind everything,

I’ve heard them say, You wipe the tears of all & sundry.

Then, Oh thou’ Kindest of the kind’, my God!

Return me back my mother, return her back to me!

The holy soul who brought me on this earth,

The deity who doted n pampered me all along,

When my chips were down n the clouds were dark,

She always came as a ‘Divine Guide’ n took me back to springs.

Like a ‘Heavenly Shield’ she kept me untouched,

And You snatched her away from me!

Cupid is your ‘ambassador of love’, they say,

Then how can you snatch my love away from me!

The lady with whom I had dreamt to live,

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun,

She had exchanged vows n had pledged to be with me,

But a day came when she had gone far way,

You are the ’Eternal script writer’, they say,

Why did You script a heart break for me!

You wipe the tears of all and sundry, they say,

Then why did you leave me in a pool of ‘tears of blood’,

Hope n happiness comes nearer, then vanishes,

Love, peace and friendship are tools of taunt,

You make me believe n then repent in disbelief.

I do not ask for the riches, I do not ask for the moon,

I do not ask for amnesty nor do for a silver spoon,

I ask for what was mine n would always be mine,

Just give me back the lady, who brought me up, my mom,

Just give me back the soul, who makes me smile, my love,

They were never Yours, so why keep them with You!

Long live your kingdom! Long live your fame!

Like a true king, like the one who does justice,

Give me back what is mine by birth n by right,

And then even I would say what they say about you.
