Think of love as a Skittle. Everyone wants more even when they have it.

"Dum Dum Dee Dum. See I can sing.  That was a love song to my girl.  Wasn't it pretty? But i still feel empty.  I think I'm going to get on facebook and look up some girls to see if they can love me too.  Thats not good enough though, I want more love, I know my mom loves me and so does my dad, but I want more!  Not even my girlfriend can satisfy my need for love.  I love being loved dont you?  It's the greatest when that person tells you they love you, but wait, you only have one, I have 4.  I have 4 loves, 4 people telling me they love me, I feel so special.  You cant because you only have 1, I have 4.  I have 4 times the love than you.  So that makes me more special than you.  You're just a person with a love, I'm a person with loves.  I love them all, all 4.  Because they love me you see.  Even when I'm mad they love me, I feel so warm and loved.  I'm glad nobody can love like me, nobody can equal the love I have.  I'm one of a kind.  Because I have 4 and you only have one.  You think I'm sick?  I think I'm loved."

You know whats sad?  That's how a lot of people think.  Monogamy sadly has lost its luster.  Polygamy is the new IT.  Think of our culture as of now.  40 almost even 50 percent of all marriages will end in divorce, if the current trend continues.  That is honestly pathetic.  What happened to the good ole' days when you married for life, not because its the "next big thing".  The mentality of "trade the old one for a new one" has become frighteningly common.  It's no longer a question of do I love this person, but a question of, how much do I get when you're gone?  Yes I will admit, divorce in the right circumstances, can be a good thing (Vegas marriage,  abusive relationship).  But to leave your partner simply because they don't like the new car you bought, is downright absurd!  Monogamy is a basis for a stable family and a stable life.  Do yourselves a favor, put it back in your pants, take a long hard look at your life, cherish your marriage.
