Tiffany Shepherd, aka Leah Lust has bought renewed attention to biology class. The former teacher was fired from her teaching job, and has become an actress, of sorts. Shepherd appears in adult films. Apparently Tiffany’s firing came after she was caught out working another job as a bikini model. School officials maintain Tiffany was fired because she had not been showing up to work. Either way, Lust has been quoted as saying, about her new position, “I’m not particularly proud of it. To be honest, I hate it” (Tarlow,2009). Ironically, the education department is continually whining about a teacher shortage, and substitute teachers are in hot demand nationwide because of the decline in the numbers of qualified professionals.
