Tips for Blogger (Google Blogs): How to Merge Blogs, Back Up Posts, Post to Multiple Blogs, and More

The official blog of Google's Blogger has some an article noting some handy new features for bloggers. You'll learn how you can now:

  • Merge two or more of your blogs into one
  • Move posts from one blog to another, including cross-posting to multiple blogs or easily transferring groups of blog posts from one blog to another
  • Back up your blog to your hard drive
  • Move your blog to another blog platform besides Blogger, and move it back if you want

What's in a name

I'm not saying you should replace your own name with "Huffer," just that it's a good name to describe what your role (or anyone else's) is on Helium. You'll still be MythMan, just as you are MythMan on Xomba but your role is being a xombie. So think of it not as a name change, but as a helpful descriptive "brand extension."

Not a 'capitalist' in terms of "money makes the world go round; BOW TO THE MONEY!" but rather in terms of 'always investing in the central thing.' And it's Xomba I invest in. "Huffer"... that's a great name for a Helium user. Globber sounds good too, though it makes me think of Goobers, those chocolate covered peanuts (I always preferred Raisinettes, myself).

I don't know if 'Globber' will be any different than "Google Blogger," but I guess I'm giving you a jump on that word-evolution (with people getting blogs all over nowadays, it'll be faster when you're listing all the places you a writer ...
