Tips on Getting Pregnant Fast

Do you want to get pregnant fast?  Are you ready to dive into the ever-changing world of parenthood?  Then I am here to help guide you.

First and foremost getting pregnant fast is not always possible for everyone, you or your spouse may have fertility problems which will reaquire a specialist, but there are things that can help you get pregnant quickly.

Before you are ready to get pregnant you must prepare to do so, when your body is prepared it will have an easier time getting pregnant.  Eat nutritiously and take a prenatal vitamin so your body has enough vitamins and minerals stored up for the process.

You will also want to get up close and personal with your period; or in other words, get to know your monthly cycle inside and out.  Then you will be able to tell when your ovulating.

Once you're ready you probably want to get pregnant fast so the best thing to do is have intercourse with your spousebefore you ovulate.  In fact the best time to do it is about 12-24 hours before you ovulate.  If you are unsure when you're ovulating then I would suggest 8, 10, 12 and 14 days after your period, this will give the best chance of having semen in there ready to fertilize the egg.

If you wait until you are ovulating then chances are you won't get pregnant because you only ovulate 6-12 hours and it takes about 12 hours for the semen to reach your uterus.  Meaning, it won't make it in time and you will have to wait until next month.

For some women getting pregnant fast is easy and you won't have to even think about any of this, however, some women may have to go through this month after month.  Don't worry if you don't get pregnant right away, but if you haven't after 6 months you may want to see your OBGYN and if it's been longer then 12 months you may want to consider a specialist.
