Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland in Tokyo, Japan was the first Disneyland to be opened outside of the United States.

It was opened in April, 1983.

It is located at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayusu, Chiba, Japan.

It and Tokyo DisneySea are the only Disney theme parks not owned by the Walt Disney Company, however, it was constructed by Walt Disney Imagineering-which develops plans for all Disney theme parks.
