Top 10 Best Cities of the Future

Top up and coming cities that may well be the power-houses of the future.

Research by Mastercard and full article at Forbes.com.

1. Shanghai, China (lowest for risk and security, highest as a business environment).

2. Beijing, China (lowest score in financial services, with security risk also scores very low, highest for business environment).

3. Budapest, Hungary (lowest score on economic growth but highest as a business environment).

4. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (lowest score on education and IT connectivity, highest as a business environment).

5. Santiago, Chile (lowest score for commercial connectivity, highest as a business environment).

6. Guangzhou, China (lowest score on financial services, highest as business environment).

7. Mexico City, Mexico (lowest score for education and IT connectivity, highest for business environment)

8. Warsaw, Poland (lowest score on economic development, highest for business environment)

9. Bangkok, Thailand (lowest score on IT and internet connectivity and education, highest as a business environment).

10. Shenzhen, China (lowest score for financial service, highest as a business environment).

Well, so who's going to relocate to one of these tempting bright new cities? Really depends if you like a high-rise metropolis and are a business person. These cities actually have very similar total scores so their order is not so clear cut.

For me, I'd rather be in a city with good internet connections, good education and with air I can breathe without a mask. From the cities above, Warsaw, Budapest and Santiago seem the most tempting. But then again, where I live, high-rise means a eucalyptus tree!

Xomba the Only Game in Town?

Whatup is not only funny, but right. The rate the economy is going(it's not bright in Phoenix, AZ so don't move here) writing for Xomba may be the only employment around! Just kidding. Without google's advertisers Xomba is all washed up too!

xombapolis

When nick and jeremy become the all-supreme co-rulers of the tropical paradise country of Bomax (formerly known as the US state of Florida which the US had to sell to the Supreme Co-Rulers as a result of the fifth fiscal collaspe in five years) they have promised to create the utopian city of Xombapolis - That's where I want to live.
