Top 10 Father's Day Gifts

Father’s Day only comes around once a year, so you need to make sure that you get a great gift for Dad. Who wants your big brother or little sister taking all of the glory with their tear-provoking homemade card? Give your dad something he’ll really cherish—something bought with cold, hard cash. Get your dad something off of this list of ten sure-fire greats and prepare yourself to be the favorite child.

1) Design Your Own Converse Shoe

http://www.converse.com, $60-85

Put your personal touch on your gift to Dad with Converse.com’s easy “Design Your Own Feature.” Design a pair of All-Stars made of skull fabric, or choose a more classic look with the Pro Leather 65. You know your dad, so make him something he’ll love that has your personal touch.

2) iPod Touch

http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/, $299-499

You may think that your pops is out of touch with new technology, but we know that all mean strive to be the king of techie stuff. Give your dad the new iPod Touch and watch as he touches away, watching videos, listening to music, surfing the internet, and more.

3) Anthony Logistics for Men Deluxe Gift Set

http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/ , $40

Ladies, believe it: even guys want to be pampered every once in a while. By getting your dad this shaving gift set in the “strength” scent, you’re giving Dad the chance to feel good and smell good while still being manly. The gift set includes shower gel, shaving cream, body spray, and a travel bag so Dad can smell good on the go.

4) Craftsman 20 Inch Extra-Deep Steel Toolbox

http://www.sears.com, $34.99

Give your dad this sturdy toolbox, and prepare yourself for the sounds of hammers banging and screwdrivers screwing as Pops tries to fix every creaky floorboard, sticking window, and loose doorknob in your house.

5) Muhammad Ali Photomint

http://www.sportsmemorabilia.com, $79.95

If your dad is like the majority of men on this planet, he has a weakness for one sport or another. Head over to Sports Memorabilia’s website to find photomints or autographed pictures of your dad’s favorite sports icon. This company has them all covered, from Hulk Hogan to Muhammad Ali.

6) Genoa Firepit

http://www.firepitshop.com, $199.98

It’s been my experience that all guys love to play with fire. Taking this into consideration, think about how much your dad would like a gift that encouraged him to play with fire. This is why you should get your dad a fire pit. The Genoa model comes with a six month warranty and is made of solid copper, so the outdoor fun can go on and on.

7) Digital Timer/Thermometer with Stainless Steel Probe

http://www.lowes.com, $19.97

When summer time is upon us, dads across the nation pull out their grilling utensils and get ready to cook out. Give your dad this unique digital timer/thermometer. This way, all of your dad’s grilled masterpieces will be cooked to perfection, and you won’t have to have the “my dad’s a better griller than your dad” fight with your buddies anymore.

8) Samsung HDTV

http://bestbuy.com, $1,049-1,499

Are you loaded? If you’ve got the cash are willing to spend it on Pops for this special (yet very commercialized) holiday, then pick up a Samsung HDTV. Sizes range from 37” to 52”, so you’ll be able to pick out a killer TV that will fit in your old man’s den.

9) Men’s Tri-Fold Wallet

http://www.giftsforprofessionals.com, $40.25-55.25

This leather tri-fold wallet is classy and simple and comes in black or brown. If you want your gift to stand out from your siblings’, get your dad’s new wallet personalized. This will give your gift the individual touch that will make your dad know that you care…no matter how much you owe him in student loans.

10) Set of Six Acrylic Beer Mugs

http://www.kegworks.com, $57.95

If your dad likes to sit back and drink a high-quality beer every once in a while (or a simple PBR—who am I to judge?), then he’ll surely appreciate this set of six acrylic beer mugs. There will be no worrying about broken glass if these babies fall to the floor, and the mugs have enough room for a full 12 ounce serving of beer with room for a frosty head.

Shoes

If Dad's a Converse lover, then there's no doubt that he has other Converse shoes laying around, and from my personal experience, once you get the right fit from All Stars (or any other style), you're set! Thanks for commenting! Katrina Robinson www.robinsonwriting.com

Give Dad Shoes? Seriously? Really? Looks like an expensive tie... I can't imagine someone buying shoes for me and they fitting well... Comfortable shoes are just so hard to find. Now the rest of the list... *bravo*

My wish list

I want number 2 and number 8. Maybe I should print the list up and circle those 2 with a sharpie and put it in my kids bookbag. Hes gonna have to mow ALOT of lawns to afford that though.

Stay strong, stay focused, stay true to yourself, and you can accomplish anything.
