Abuse is a slow death, day by day for decades. I have known women that were abused growing up who went on to to be abused in thier marriages for 60 more years.Manipulating markets and commodities in such a way as to create shortages that drive prices higher certianly increase sales and profits, but also lead to deaths of innocent people.Oil as a fuel and as a base for many products is a problem far beyond Global Warming. Tightening travel regulations are causing increasing difficulties in entering and leaving the USA. A passport will be required for US citizens to leave and re-enter, even from Canada and Mexico.
