Top 10 Uses of Vinegar Around the House

Vinegar? So many uses so little time. Top 10 quick uses. I made this list practical and hopefully useful. Enjoy.

Things You’ll Need:
Gallon of White Distilled Vinegar

Step1
Quick Clean Microwave. Mix ½ cup water to ½ cup of vinegar in a 2 cup microwave safe bowl. Do not cover. Bring mixture to a strong boil inside the microwave. Prepare to be amazed as baked on gook loosens and the odors evaporate. Wipe clean with ease.
Step2
Paint Removal from Windows. Apply hot undiluted white distilled vinegar to paint spots. Allow vinegar to “soak” into paint,. Paint will soften. Simply peel away or use razor for thinner coats.
Step3
Disinfect Baby Toys. Add about 1 cup of undiluted vinegar to soapy water. This splash of vinegar will work as a disinfectant agent making it safe for baby to “chew” (as they often do) those toys!
Step4
Sticky Scissors? Clean sticky scissors while gift wrapping or crafting by simply wiping blades with a cloth dipped in undiluted vinegar.
Step5
Rusted Tools. Clean rusted tools and such by soaking overnight in a plastic basin filled with undiluted vinegar. Dry tools carefully before use and storage.
Step6
Cheese. Cheese will last longer (specifically expensive cuts) if you wrap it in a vinegar soaked cloth and then place it in a sealed container.
Step7
Eggs. Before boiling your next egg try adding 2 tbsp. of vinegar (per qt. of water). The vinegar will prevent the eggs from cracking and allow for easier peeling
Step8
Ice on Windshield. Winter is upon us…Wipe your windshield down with some undiluted vinegar before calling it a night. This will prevent ice from forming on your windshield.
Step9
Glass Cleaner. Mix 2 parts vinegar to 1 part water in a spray bottle to make your own glass cleaner! Excellent old school for windows. Want to go greener? –try using crumbled newspaper (talking streak free clean here folks) instead of paper towels.
Step10
Dry Skin. Try swathing those dry skin areas with some vinegar for some instant relief.
