1. Research
Know your product, add as much detail as possible to the description. Research on the internet or ended auctions and get "inspired" from other sellers descriptions.

2. Group Listings
List similar items at the same time. If you sell random items you are less likely to get a repeat bidder or multiple buyer. It is best to hold on to some items until you have similat items to list.

3. Schedule Posts
You may only have the time to write descriptions and create auction posts during the day but you must make sure you pay attention to when they are going to end. Bidders are most likely going to be at their computer after the work or school day is over, schedule your posts to start from 6pm-10pm sunday-monday, this is when you will get the most money for your auctions.

4. Pictures
Pictures are extremely important in getting the maximum bids on your items. Take them in the best light, deatiled and far away shots, and with accessories. If you are selling a piece of clothing put it on a mannequin or have a model pose for you. Laying your garment flat does not show the bidder what it may look like on them or whomever they are buying it for. Same as for furniture, set up a room featuring the piece you want to sell with similar styled items around it.

5. Auction listing service
Sign up for a free auction listing service. They will help your auction look more professional, host photos and help you list items more efficiantly.
