Top Reasons Why MySpace Sometimes Sucks

#1. You make your photo folders for "friends only" to protect yourself and/or your children from weirdos on the internet, only to find that your ex-husbands family, who are not on your friend list, have public photo folders with pictures of your kids in them. You can ask them to remove them, but you know they won't.

#2. The login page is almost always slow-loading.

#3. The "new" profile editor does funky things to your pages, there are several bugs in it and Tom still has not fixed them.

#4. Your blogs don't always post the way you want them to post.

#5. Your blogs don't always POST.

#6. There are tons of ads on this free MySpace and Tom gets all the money from them!! (unlike other free sites like blogger.com and xomba.com)

#7. MySpace is so popular that people are actually starting to charge for custom layouts.

#8. I can't think of any more at the moment but when I do I'll be sure and let you know.

I used to have a profile on MS a couple or three years ago, but deleted it. Unless you are below the age of 25 (more accurately 18) or in a fledgling band, there is little in the way of intellectually-stimulating content there. If someone were there to make money by writing (bloggers), as you've mentioned there are better free places to write and actually get paid to do so--Xomba is at the top of that list.

DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

On the bookmarking-tool at the bottom of each Xom-byte and -blurb is a MySpace link. If you have a working MySpace profile, you can post `byte- and `blurb-notices in your blog or -profile or -bulletin space there.

You have a problem there, seems you're pretty pissed off

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

Mine's "mythmanjay." My referral-link is a Yuwie-Tip link (also on my Xomba-profile).

While I don't like to use the negative there, I have often mentioned (in passing invitations) that Yuwie is 'like MySpace, except you get the revenue.'
