Top ten preflop hands in limit Texas Hold’em Poker

Have you ever wanted to play the popular online game Texas Holdem Poker but you are a little intimidated because you are not sure how to play? We all have to start some place.  Asking question along with jumping in and trying it is always a good way to start. Most people enjoy sharing with others things they know. Just ask questions during your game. Most people will enjoy helping you. To get started you would want to sign up, getting a profile over at Myspace found here at this link http://www.myspace.com/or Facebook found here at this link http://www.facebook.com/, and getting the Texas Holdem Poker Application, which you will find at each website. The game starts everyone off with some free chips everyday you play. If you run out you can always come back and play again the next day with a completely new set of chips. It is nice for everyone who is just starting out.  People all play their games differently. The more time you spend playing the better feel you will get for the game.

For beginners you might want to play it safe.  There are ten top cards you want to hold on too and all the rest you want to fold. Playing it this way is a good way to win while you learn. The top ten cards are as follows:

  • A-A
  • K-K
  • Q-Q
  • A-K
  • J-J
  • 10-10
  • 9-9
  • 8-8
  • A-Q
  • 7-7

Once you learn more you can play other hands more confidently and win.  Take your time, play smart, and in no time, you will be winning more hands then not.  This is a fast quick way to get your feet wet and get in the game.  There are no guarantees to anything just helpful hints that seem to work more times then not. In this game, it is all about the odds, and how well you can read the other players. This takes time to learn.  It will not happen over night but soon you will be a great player.
