6. Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock

The extremely successful Guitar Hero franchise returns with its third installment this time on the Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and PS3. New wireless guitars and over 70 songs makes this a must buy for any fan of the rhythm game series.

7. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

The Call of Duty series ditches World War II for an alternate future where the Cold War didn't end. With modern weaponry and the ability to call in airstikes, looks for this game to give Halo 3 a run for its money in the multiplayer shooter category.

8. Super Mario Galaxy

Mario's first true appearance on the Wii has him blasting off into space in what is being called the true sequel to Mario 64. This game is sure to have the broad appeal that will only make the Wii more successful.

9. Assassin's Creed

From the makers of Prince of Persia comes Assassin's Creed, a game that allows you to take control of a medieval assassin. This game looks incredible and will be one of the best action/adventure games of the season. It will be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

10. Rock Band

Rock Band is like Guitar Hero except for the whole band. For the price of $169 you get the game, a guitar, a microphone and a drum set. The game is made from the creators of Guitar Hero and will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2.
