Toronto Rocked by Explosions in the Middle of the Night

Toronto Rocked by Explosions in the Middle of the Night

I woke up in the early hours of the morning by what had sounded like the loudest thunder I have ever heard. Only I knew it could not have been thunder because the ground was shaking and vibrating, as something was hitting it hard. And then there was another explosion and another one. It seemed like it was never going to stop. Soon the ambulance and the fire sirens went on, as the trucks were trying to get to their destination. Only when I read the new did I realize what happened.

Propane tanks have exploded and burned in Toronto, forcing authorities to close the busiest highway, evacuate nearby residents and the declare it a non-fly zone. So far there are no known death or serious injuries.

Toronto

Wow that is pretty scary! Glad your allright! Reminds me of some of the earthquakes in Alaska, sometimes there is a booming sound first then it hits! I found this story also http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7552807.stm If you would like to chat about Xomba or anything you want, join here: http://home.wanadoo.nl/mqs/ladykenai/chat.html ↑ Grab this Headline Animator

I remember as a kid, some tanks at the oil refineries in Philadelphia exploded...I've been close to several big booms since, but miles away and the ground still shook..That was a huge explosion!..how big were those propane tanks? How far away were you? Click here to find out how you can get paid to post items like this. It's free and easy to join.
