Millions of residents of south-east Asia and the western Pacific will be treated to an amazing celestial spectacle Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009: a total solar eclipse. The path of totality begins at 00:51:17 UT off the coast of India. The countries of Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, and China will also be treated to this rare occurrence.
