While Spaniard Alberto Contador remains the leader of this year's Tour de France, his fellow countryman won a grueling mountainous stage 20 on Saturday which finished atop Mont Ventoux, perhaps the toughest mountain in this year's race.

Despite many attacks from the GC leaders, the podium positions remained as they were before the stage had begun, with Contador in yellow, Andy Schleck of Luxumborg in second, and American Lance Armstrong in third.
