Toward our origins and ancestors: Ardipithecus ramidus, see the Podcast

This link to our past takes us on a different course than many have thought previously. The arguments are very strong for the linkage this describes. Would you be able to tell who was your mother from the bones buried in our cemetaries. Perhaps there will be some of us left, two or three million years from now, who will discover and excavate the cemetaries that might capture both the climate and the human stature of this time.
Of course, seeing that we are facing 50,000 to100,000 years of CO2 warming, and possibly more if we do not act quickly enough - - including, possibly, our civilization's extinction along with mass extinctions in life around us - - there comes, the furious urgency of action now.
The climate 4.4 and more million years ago can be dug up with the bones of a creature that appears to have left traces showing the opposable big toe coupled with upright walking in a forest as opposed to a savanah like where the fossils are covered now.
