Tread Softly

Tread Softly

Nature manipulates environment; Man, amongst other things are created. Man manipulates environment; Man destroys nature...amongst other things.

What it seems is this.... nature is nothing that has been imagined it to be. A cosmic stream that flows and etches a changing universe that is never the same thing long enough to be understood. Infact, to try and understand it is a sort of madness. A madness that infects those who must come to terms with a solid rational that explains the why in experience. Every imagined mask that is placed upon the head of the universe is just that, a mask. In turn, human kind is but a mask created by human kind as a consequence to human kind’s efforts to define the universe. A kind of adverse reflection of interaction consequence between universe and human kind. The harder human kind tries, or the deeper into madness human kind sinks, the more imagination binds freedom to imagine. The more the universe becomes abstract; The more human kind becomes abstract. It is a relationship of transference and projection. Therefore, the more the universe is defined, the more human kind is defined, leaving less room for expansion. The universe, and human kind are apart of the same reflection but at a level that is limited by exposure. Like looking at a mirror, then focusing in on a tiny area of the mirror and blowing up that reflection to the size of the whole. The reflection is true and complete in its fashion but is easily mistaken for the whole meaning of the overall reflection. It is not. What’s more, is the reflections revealed in the tiny space made to appear as the whole are not sensible in any time line or movement. Thusly, confusion and misunderstanding potentials are plentiful.

Ultimately, there is no universe and there is no human kind. Both are stories of imagination solidified by belief. A swirl of energies and eddies that lend to an organization that believes in the realness of itself. The mask is made of mind projection. The universe as it is understood here is the substance the mask is made of. Nature is what nature is, a current that creates and destroys with any mind to drive it. Nature creates masks inadvertently and destroys them the same way. The universe, human kind, both products of one and the same mirror-mask, are worn by nature and discarded by nature without any investment of meaning given. Once the mask is broken down, a new mask is shaped and a new level of possibility can be awakened; However temporarily. Natures mask exists as long as it may. Some of natures mask are destroyed by nature itself. Human kind is a mask that has the potential of destroying natures mask. In destroying nature, human kind only destroy themselves and the universe (one and the same mirror-mask), in so far as they exist. Nature will not suffer. Nature continues in the energy chaos it has always been. That is nature and that is why there is no answer to the question why.

My advice to those caught up in the imagination of being a solid thing; All the ideas that define the choices you make; All the rules of living so that you may live well or may live less then well; All the meanings you adopt in order to create a sense of self and existence. My advice is simple, don’t take things too seriously. It is the taking ourselves too seriously that has brought so much premature harm to nature. Nature doesn’t care what we do. It is just another mask etched out when it is wrecked. If you care and like this journey behind the eyes of this nature-mask, then learn to live with each other and nature in less abrasive ways. Learn to live with yourself in less abrasive ways. Strive to understand that all of what is known is but a small part of what is to be known. Walk not with a sense of grandeur but with a sense of humility. Enjoy harmony within and without your perceptions of the reflections of life. Living without will bring greater riches within. The universe as we see it, and all the perceived manifestations therein, are as fragile as the most delicate silk webs. Tread softly.

The fear of the end of Human Kind

Very interesting and brings about some deep thoughts and examples of just how "selfish" mankind is. The constant predictions of "The End of Times" so rampantly spreading with the 2012 predictions is one example. When you read about the predictions it is all about how man will cease, not about nature or the universe. Even my search for balance is an aspect of personal (human) comfort, although I try to incorporate the balance of my human self with the universal energies, am I doig it for me or for the "greater good"?

We (humans) are really such a miniscule factor of the universe.

inside this writers mind

I would not disagree with your summary MJ. I will however add to it. This article is a product of confoundment and dismay. Not only is life not defined by man, it is largely unconcerned with man as well. People seem to harbor a unknown belief system that automatically assumes human kind matters in the grand scale of things. That is erroneous. Human kind is primary only in the world of human kind. Accepting that can not help but to improve the quality and perhaps the longevity of our species...Or so it feels from inside this writers mind

Tread Softly, but do tread

This is an interesting article, one that I have just read twice.

The simplified perception that I get here is, "Look outside the box". Do not box yourself into a set of belief and rules because there are none. Life is everchanging and it is not defined by man alone.

Interesting article!
