Treasure Trooper: Addicting Game or Money Fountain?
posted December 14, 2008 - 2:34amI just stumbled across this site today, and it seems very interesting. It is like many other sites in that you get paid to complete surveys and offers, etc. What is really unique is their approach to everything. They try to make the whole experience more like a game, and less like a job. They do this in a few ways:
-Lots of contests. You are able to spend some of the money in your account on items that help you win contests with bigger prizes (100$+!!!)
-That same currency system is used to buy various items that can help you make more money. For example, you can buy "pearl bracelets" that make the next two people who join the site without referrals automatically become referred under you
On the topic of referrals, the referral system seems great. You earn 20% from certain offers that your first level referred users receive, and 5% from your second level users. This seems to add up fairly nicely. Like Xomba, this is taken from the website's profit, so only users benefit!
Their forum is surprisingly very active, and they even have "guilds" by which people band together to complete some of the in-game website challenges.
Everything considered, Treasure Troopers seems like it could be well worth the time it takes to check it out.
Also of note is that they pay via Paypal as an option, and only require a 20$ minimum.
