Here is an article that suggest appropriate times for children and kids to trick or treat.  I think the advice is somewhat flawed... start trick or treating when it is still light out at 4pm?!?  That seems a little strange.  I would say more like 6pm- pm  would be good.  But if you want to read what this place recommends just follow the posted link.  Happy Halloween!
