The National Hurricane Center has reported that the first  Atlantic storm named Tropical Storm Ana has formed over the Atlantic. Ana could strenghen in the next days to come at speeds of 16mph as it approaches the Leeward Islands.

While Tropical Storm Ana still appears to be north of the Caribbean Islands the weather forecasters don't think it will pose a threat to  the U.S. mainland.
