Tim McGraw
Trouble may not be Tim McGraw's middle name but it does seem to find him occasionally. During his Tuesday (June 24, 2008) show in Aurburn Washington, while he was singng his early '90's hit, Indian Outlaw, McGraw witnessed a male audience member hit a woman. without his band, The Dancehall Doctors, missing a beat McGraw yells "Get rid of this guy" Mcgraw, security and crew members hauled the man on stage.
As he was taken away he reportedly threatened Tim who cocked his fist at the grouchy guy. Almost as if on que he stepped right back up to the microphone and resumed singing his song picking up the line "I ain't looking for trouble....."
The reported reason McGraw intervened was because he wintessed the whole scene from his point onstage and security couln't respond quick enough. McGraw was raised by his mom and step dad who reportedly beat his mom.
McGraw tackles the issue of wife beating from a 15 year old son's view in a song on his latest CD "Let It Go". The song title is "Between The River And Me"
The song is about a son who sees his step dad beat his mom one two many times and takes matter into his own ands when he follows him down to the river.
