True Beauty, True Happiness

People flock to the doors of Cosmetic brands because they despise their dark complexion, which they think is to be despised because that's what the media throws into their visual perimeter.

In the first case, is being happy based on the physical appeal to and the acceptance by the society? Well, History proves otherwise.

Yes physical attractiveness and beauty is very important and what matters is the physical attractivenes that stands out as a manifestation of the true inner attractiveness that a person harbours. Cosmetics can only add icing to the cake and yes cosmetics does it effectively. But, that alone can create beauty that's only skin deep, which doesn't last and could prove to be an effective short cut to happiness but it's definitely short lived.

As the physical self is only an outward projection of a more subtle reality that one is, true attractiveness depends on how much attentive one is of ones inner self and careful in the cultivation of a self respecting, self loving, self appreciating, strong character. When such a character is formed, one is not affected at by what is thrown by the media or any other outer body.
