In the first part of this series, the often misleading health care statistics are discussed and analyzed. Rushing health care legislation through Congress is not going to produce an effective result, especially when the real problems will not be addressed. In order to efficiently solve any problems we may have with our health care system - assuming the federal government can accomplish such a feat - we must first know exactly what those problems are and who is affected. These statistics are a good first step.
