I do not want to see this housing market fall any further. I feel that I can help my fellow homeowners by 1) giving them access to information (that I believe is not readily available or well understood by the public) and 2) providing a free web portal that will connect homeowners to trade their homes, either in their local area or nationwide.

I just want to help jump start this economy, the free website I developed is a start. It lets people who are pressured to move (retires, job transfers, expecting family growth, etc), and who feel they can't under these condition an opportunity to swap the homes, this way there will be less homes on the market, and less "For Sale" signs which should help restore confidence.

Because of the sluggish home market, and our current credit crisis, homeowners, are stuck in a situation where they are finding it difficult to move on, if they can't sell their current home - then www.TrySwappingIt.com It's free, they have nothing to lose by signing up. It's just another way to expose a home to other potential homeowners. Registered members can do searches, contact homeowners directly, etc Also, It's a multi-llingual site, currently Spanish is available, if there is another language that homeowners would like to see that can be accomplished too.

But unlike other sites that may appear to function this way, http://www.TrySwappingIt.com stands out because it is free and it is an essential resource enabler for homeowners. I intend to keep it this way of course the hosting provider may charge me for more of the advanced features. Who knows maybe one of you own a server farm, needing to trade your home and would like to be a sister host to the site.

I make no money off the real estate transactions (mainly because I'm not a real estate agent), I am simply a matchmaker of homes ... kinda like match.com, true.com, chemistry.com etc. I believe homeowners will feel more comfortable with a site that is not backed by a real estate agent pushing a simultaneous closing and not considering the many other options available for homeowners. Lots of these options come from those with experience in short sales and alternative real estate practices. I thought of this idea since Dec 07 and finally got the site up early this month, since then I've had an impressive number of members sign up

Please take a look at the site yourself, let your friends and family know... please, making the economy better starts with us!!
