I am sure this guy is no weather guy, or else he would have known the dangerous forecast for the day. But on the other hand storms such as Tsunamis can come from out of no where without warning. But my real question is this: How on earth did the person filming catch all of this on video without running for cover? I also wonder did the surfer make it out alive. You can see from the video he was overtaken, but it certainly leaves you with a cliffhanger.
