I remember when I back in the mid-1980s came across a magazine article on the worst movies ever made. This was the first time I heard the term "turkey" and I found the subject extremely fascinating. I wish I still had that article, since a few movies I haven't heard of since were mentioned.
    The one movie that seemed to be the funniest was of course PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE by super legend Edward D. Wood, Jr. This movie is officially labeled "The worst movie ever made" and Ed Wood is "The worst director ever".
    The thing is that PLAN 9 isn't the worst movie ever made, and Wood wasn't the worst director. PLAN 9 is a very entertaining movie, and entertaining movies are always better than boring movies. There are thousands of movies that are worse.
    Those of you interested in the amazing Mr. Wood have of course seen all of his movies, Tim Burton's bio-pic ED WOOD, and the documentaries LOOK BACK IN ANGORA and FLYING SAUCERS OVER HOLLYWOOD.
