Turn One Laptop Into Wi-Fi Hospot in Vista

While sitting at work I wondered if there was a way to take the single laptop into the building, and turn it into a hotspot for other laptops, and after doing some further research I realized that there was indeed a way. This tutorial is for Windows Vista, but this can be done in Windows XP as well. Start off by going down to Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center. On the left side click, Set up a connection or network, then click Set up a wireless ad-hoc (computer-to-computer) network. Click Next, and then click Next again, and now you're ready to set an encryption code, and of course, give your network a name. Give your network any type of name you'd prefer, and set an encryption type, as well as a password, and give this to anyone you would like to connect to the network, and enjoy your new hotspot!
