'Twas my first week of Xomba, Caught deep in the web
My fingers typed furiously, With me rarely seeing my bed

My Xombytes were posted on the web with great care
In hopes that I'd find, a new comment there

My wife is now nestled all snug in our bed
While I'm on the computer, Instead of resting my head

Mamma sleeping soundly, But I'm wide awake
Thinking of the next post that I might make

When on one of my articles there arose such a clatter
Dozens of comments, some mad at my letter

Back to the keyboard I type like a flash
Secretly hoping these posts bring me cash

Then what to my glazed over eyes should appear?
72 cents in my adsense account, not enough for a beer

Leaving comments on Mythman, on Lady, on Cara, on Publius
On Maken, on Idle, on ChrisRick, and Mobius

Have any replied? Oh course man! You bet!
Unfortunately though my only buddy is still Brett

'Nother night gone, Chores and trash high with neglect
As I sit in the Den, Waiting for my PC to connect

I have things to attend to, So I gotta run
But I'll be back often, Don't think that I'm done

Back to the real world, well, so-to-speak
