Twitter Proves It's Usefulness

James Karl Buck, a graduate journalism student at UC Berkeley was arrested last week in Egypt. He used Twitter to send out a single word message 'Arrested' on his mobile and within moments his vast circle of friends were informed. In 24 hours Buck walked out with an Egyptian lawyer hired by UC Berkeley on his side and the US Embassy on the phone.
