Have you joined Twitter yet? Well, neither have I. Twitter is a social networking site where you post a message explaining what it is you are doing at the very moment you are writing the message. The messages have to be less than 140 characters. You can also send the messages from your cell phone. Twitter can be a good way to keep in touch with friends--it's a lot like instant messaging.

Twittervision is a google map mash-up of twitter that shows you geographically (on a map) where people are "tweeting" from.

I don't even do the whole twitter thing, but it was interesting to see these little messages with an avatar pop up in Nebraska, then Italy, then Australia.

Twittervision is worth a look.
