If I extend your argument, then a Republican is more concerned about maintaining outward appearances with as many layers of paint necessary, even though the insides are rotting away. In fact, this is exactly how "your" side sees things. "America must project her strength as the last remaining Superpower in the world. Rah. Rah. Rah." Trouble is, there is a lot of ugliness that must be addressed if we as a country are to continue to survive. Racism is still alive and well. We are spending billions of dollars every single month in Iraq and Afghanistan while our own children go without food and basic healthcare. Parents must send both parents into the workplace to bring home enough money to cover the bills and they can't even afford to do that with gas prices going up and up. I am optimistic that enough people coming together learning how to be prosperous and less dependent on the government for everything is going to be the solution because, let's face it, the government is rushing headlong into the Abyss and might not even be there in a few weeks. My concern is that people in your God's Club have given up and stopped fighting for this country. You would rather the Rapture happen tomorrow so you don't have to do the dirty work in fixing the problems that we ALL must participate in fixing. Since the Bible doesn't set a date for the Rapture, you feel justified in not doing anything but attacking those of us who do feel like we can make a difference simply because we are not quitting. Our activism makes your utter lack of industry all the more conspicuous and you don't want people seeing you for what you are. You attack people for voting for whom they believe is the best candidate for president, but you claim to champion a Continental [sic] Republic. In a Constitutional Republic EVERYONE is represented. You and those like you are not allowed to pick and choose those you deem worthy of voting. The way to make sure your candidate wins is to make sure your candidate gets more votes in the electoral college. To do this, you must get more of your side to turn out and vote. The process does not work by you removing Obama votes from the ballot box. You need to add McCain votes. So, I will say it again. Where is your justification that John McCain is the best candidate for president? Or are you so anti-Obama that you're unable to be pro-anybody else and that is the entire basis for your political platform? Sending your own children or going yourself. Bad. See, I can do it, too. No, I am not voting for Obama or McCain because neither is worthy of my vote. Still waiting for your support of why McCain is such a swell candidate.
