Typical BS from the Democrats

Typical BS from the Democrats

Yesterday Joe Biden said "I have never seen Washington so broken". Hasn't he been in Washington since the 1980s? Why has he not tried to fix it? He's been in Washington for a long time. He is obviously part of the problem. Does Biden believe he'll be able to 'fix' Washington as soon as he's VP if he wasn't able to do it before?

Obama has campaigned for the last year on 'change.' Yet he pick Biden a Washington insider (who has a son that is a lobbyist, another for a hedge fund company) as VP. What will this 'change' be? I think it'll just be a change in their position and paycheck. These two people have not changed anything since they have been in the senate. Obama usually votes 'present' he has made no effort to change anything in his two glorious years in the senate.

Obama talks about redistribution of wealth, yet this millionaire senator from IL has a brother living on $12 a year living in a hut in Kenya! Send your brother $20! Do not talk about redistributing my wealth through taxes when you don't do it. Moreover why is the redistribution of wealth even talked about? Anyone who took economics 101 will tell you that is socialism. Why should I work hard if these jerks in Washington are going to take my money and give it to a Meth head? I guess I should do like most politicians and shelter their money in Off-shore accounts.

The democrats warm us of global warming and the fact that Washington needs to control our thermostats, yet they fly to the DNC on private jets and have huge video monitors everywhere taking huge amounts of electricity. If they really believed in global warming wouldn't they be more concerned. But then again Pelosi didn't even know where natural gas came from! Scary!

It all seems to be more of the same to me. Just a big old fashion pile of BullS$%T

Look at Obama's resume, two years in the senate and before that a community organizer. The majority of his decisions in the Senate have been marked 'present.' He has never made a hard decision in his life. I wouldn't hire him to work for me! never mind accepting his resume to lead the greatest military in the world as Commander in Chief with control of the worlds largest nuclear arsenal! Would you?

Mathematically challenged?

"Look at Obama's resume, two years in the senate and before that a community organizer." Hmmm, that's like me saying "I'm middle aged now and before that I was a toddler." Obama has been in the Senate 3.5 years. And yes, he was an organizer, but in after that he was in the Illinois Senate for 8 years.

Can't Wait

To find out who McCain chooses. That will be really interesting.

Political conventions

The political conventions from both parties are are all BS these days, it could be easily argued. I watched several conventions as a kid, when it was not known who the nominee would be. There was uncertainty and the nominees and VP candidates were actually decided on the convention floor. Now all that is decided in advance, which is why I'll be paying little attention to either convention. They are basically just glorified pep rallies.

Politics

Look for the same thing if, as is rumored, McCain chooses Romney for VP. Romney was very critical of McCain during the campaign, and vice versa. That's one of the tricky things about a candidate choosing as VP someone he/she was battling in the primaries just a few months before.

Hmmm

You do make some interesting points. Hilary herself said that McCain has a lifetime of experience whereas Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.

As opposed to typical BS from the Republicans?

All this talk of the Democrats being the only problem is ignoring half the problem. That other half of the problem is Republicans. Both sides are just as corrupt and just as anti-American citizen. Democrats are for the welfare state and Republicans are for the warfare state and both are siphoning money and resources out of the pockets of the American Middle Class and giving it to welfare-as-a-career poor people, welfare-as-a-means-of-padding-the-bottom-line corporations, to foreign governments in unconstitutional foreign aid, or in attacking foreign countries to plunder their natural resources. Both sides are corrupt to the core and cannot be part of the solution for fixing the country. Only rank partisanship will blame one side and ignore its own contribution to the problem. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Biden has actually been in

Biden has actually been in Congress since 1973. If Washington is "broken," then he's certainly one of the reasons why. I think it's funny that the man who called Barack "clean and articulate" is now his running-mate. I guess Obama saw that as a compliment. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.
