U.S. Representative Ron Paul, a former Republican candidate for president, is hosting his own event in Minneapolis at the same time as the Republican convention. Ron Paul appeared on the NPR morning news program The Takeaway on July 31st, and here you can listen to a question and answer session with the show's hosts, in which he explains what he hopes to achieve with his "Rally of the Republic."
