U.S. Reporter Roxana Saberi Jailed in Iran

An American freelance reporter working in Iran has been detained in the country and is being held in an undisclosed location, several news organizations have reported. Roxana Saberi, a 31 year old who has worked for National Public Radio, the PBS News Hour, and Fox News, was apparently arrested about a month ago, but Saberi's family didn't want the story made public until yesterday. You can learn more and hear an interview with Roxana Saberi's father at the NPR interview below.

"Her press credentials were revoked by the Iranian government more than a year ago, but she was being allowed to file short stories until her arrest about a month ago," according to a story on MediaBistro.com.
