U.S. Tied with China in Total Medals (33), but China Has More Than Twice the Number of Gold

Current Olympic Medal standings show U.S. and China tied for first place in overall medal standings, but China has more than twice the number of Gold thanks to a strong showing by Chinese Women Olympians. China currently has 21 Gold to the United States 10. Both Teams currently tied at 33 medals overall.
