UFC 100 was held in the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Nevada On July 11th 2009. There were some great fights. Brock Lesnar defeated Frank Mir in the second round with a knock out. The fight between Georges St. Pierre and Thaigo Alves went the distance and lasted all 5 rounds. Pierre won by unanimous decision.
Jon Fitch wins by unanimous decision against Paulo Thiago. One of the most anticipated fights of the night was between Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping. The two fighters were coaches on the Ultimate Fighter Show. Dan Henderson came away the victor in this fight. Bisping was met with a brutal right hand that ultimately ended the fight in the second round.
Yoshihiro Akiyama wins with a unanimous decision over Alan Belcher. Mark Coleman wins over Stephan Bonar. Jim Miller beats Mac Danzig. Jon Jones applies a guillotine choke to win against Jake O'Brien. Dong Hyun Kim gets the decision over TJ Grant. Tom Lawlor guillotine chokes CB Dollaway for a victory. And last but not least Shannon Gugerty gets the win with yet another guillotine adding to the already numerous of the night to beat out Matt Grice.
This was a great night for all UFC fans and the fighters put on a wonderful show for the 100th ufc fight night. I hope there is another 100 to come.
