Why is Google adsense earnings falling down

Every Google adsense publisher has had some up’s and downs, some used to get $1 per click and now they’re getting $0.20 and some fell down to $0.01 per click. We can’t just simply blame Google for that because many factors calculates how much you get per click

Good summary of what can affect Google Adsense earnings.  I have also noticed that certain subjects do not do very well for earnings.  They have lots of views and obvious interested readers judging by comments, but when a click does show up, its worth pennies - literally!  Not nickels, dimes, or quarters, but only a few pennies!
