If you are looking for some unique Christmas Craft Ideas, then check this out..  Rustic denim ornaments.  These look really cool when all decorated.  These are great for kids, and depening on their age, can be sparkly or intricate embroideries and beading.  These can end up being great original works of art that you display in your Christmas Tree!

You can't get that from the discount store!.  Here is the best way to make them. 

Cut out 2 identical circles (use a lid or whatever size you want for your circle).  Now sew around the edge allowing 1/2 inch seam, and leave a small opening for some stuffing.  Now clip your seams about 1/4 inch apart or less, to make all the edge a fringe. 

Make a few and then wash and throw in the dryer.  This will create white fuzzy fringe that adds to the rustic look of your ornament.   Stuff with some polyester stuffing or other soft materials, and stuff as much as you want.  Hand sew the small opening after stuffing, and sew in the decorative cord at the same time for hanging on the tree.

Now the fun part..  get out all those beads, sparkles, fabric paints, fabric markers and more, and let the imagination go wild.  You can even get glue on rhinestones for a sparkly effect.  Let your kids personalize them and have them sign their name and date them for treasures to be appreciated year after year..
