Unique crayon art by Christian Faur in the Telegraph

In this series of photographs called "The amazing crayon art of Christian Faur", the telegraph shows off his very unique art idea.

The artwork is not drawn with crayons it is the crayons themselves. Positioned upright in various configurations they create an impressionist and quite perfect image.

When looking at the large photograph, check out the minature preview one a the top right side of the page, they are interesting to compare as when reduced the image is even clearer, as if you were viewing the art from a distance.

Some of the images are quite amazing, such as

which captures a perfect expression on a face.
