Strange and Unusual Wikipedia Entries

Strange and Unusual Wikipedia Entries

I recently found a page on wikipedia.org that contains a listing of the strangest and most unusual articles that can be found on the website.

From the story of the small town in Texas that changed its name to "Dish" so that it could receive free DVR's and satellite television for ten years, to an entry on the Principality of Sealand, to an article on the Austrian town of F***ing, which mysteriously keeps getting its street signs stolen.

They are entertaining, interesting, and good for trivia!

Wikipedia Weirdness

I didn't know they had a page like this on Wikipedia, but I do now. You're right, there was all kinds of interesting stuff there! That chandelier made of human bones is wild! In a CHURCH, no less! I wonder now too, if Kevin Costner got the idea for his film, 'Waterworld' from 'Sealand'? When you said "interesting, entertaining, and good for triva" you weren't kidding! Thanks for sharing it with us! Dragonfly Xomba Moderator
