US Airways to Cut Movies From Their Domestic Flights

US Airways to Cut Movies From Their Domestic Flights

Just like the article says...bring a book. Due to the heavy equipment that it takes to show an in-flight movie, US Airways is cutting out the media from their domestic flights thereby reducing their gas consumption.

I think that's ok with me. My last flight was a three hour one from Portland to Chicago and they ran a Ben Affleck film...twice!

Maybe personal DVD players will become smaller and more affordable. I'd much rather watch a film of my own choosing.

Fine with me too

I'd rather just listen to music, anyway. The last couple of flights I was on the movies were pure crap. I only wish I could get some decent sleep on a plane, but I've never been able to drift off for more than an hour at a time. :( ↑ Grab this Headline Animator Join Xomba
