Miss any anger management classes there, Publius?

Ignoring for a moment that my comments before were directed at lmorovan (that's why his name is found in the subject line of my comments, see), my response and invocation to his challenge was appropriate. He asked what I did and I told him, then I put the question back to him. Thank you for rendering your opinion, Publius. I'm glad that you had a chance to vent. Unfortunately for you, I do not live my life for want of your approval, which makes your comments as effective against me as those of lmorovan or eggsoveresy. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Still using that same old

Still using that same old argument, huh jdub? "I was in the Navy for ten years. I've been around the world. That makes me smarter than anyone else on Xomba. You have no right to speak about anything that has to do with foreign affairs because I'm Jim and I served my country. That makes me more qualified than you and gives me and only me special privileges and abilities to seek and find 'truth.' Anything I say is right and if you disagree it's because you haven't served in the military like I have. You're a 'chickenhawk' and only use ad hominem arguments to support your position...but I don't because I served my country. You're just a fascist 'Russophobe' - and did I mention you only use ad hominems?" - jdubhub Well, how about this, tough guy... I joined the military after we were attacked on 9-11. I achieved the highest possible score on the ASVAB (99 QT). I was an Honor Graduate in basic training. I was also a qualified Marksman. While I was serving, I received injuries to my head, shoulder, and back and was forced to take an Honorable Discharge. I served my country well and paid a price for it. What does this have to do with the comments made here on Xomba? Nothing at all. I am not entitled to any special "truths" because of my service. I'm not here to seek special favor because of my military record. It has nothing to do with my worldly experience or my writing ability. Bringing up one's service is a phony argument and does nothing but distract the reader from the real issues by trying to convince them that because of the author's military experience they ought to overlook the weaknesses or failures of the argument being made. Why do you constantly bring up your military service? Because your arguments are pathetic and you're trying to grasp for just the slightest bit of credibility or relevance. You're a fake, Jim. Your articles are simply re-hashed diatribes from your list of debunked or preposterous "media" outlets. I was always skeptical about your aim and your thought processes, but only recently did I discover that your articles are not a product of your own mind...they are a compilation of other people's work - and those works aren't even worth reading, which is why they're reduced to posting on websites with little or no credibility. So enjoy yourself and your irrelevance. You may have a few sycophants here, but you'll never be worth the energy you waste posting the trash that comprises your daily Xomba "content." It's been fun. (Not really.) Good day. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

Evel Knievel Couldn't Make that Jump, lmorovan

Just as I suspected, you have nothing. You are full of empty rhetoric and are only as strong as the attacks you can make verbally on other people. Tough guy. LOL Dissent and a seeking of the truth is the same as treason and selling out to enemies, whoever that may be? Not even Evel Knievel could make that jump, lmorovan. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

You brag about serving your country and at the same time, you wouldn't hesitate to sell her to our enemies. Thanks, but no thanks. You should have stayed home, at least your words would not sound like treason. To read my posts and articles click here: http://www.xomba.com/xombyte/lmorovan

Um, how much military time do you have lmorovan?

What have you done to protect this Constitution you seem to care so much about? I've already had my Constitutional rights taken away for ten years in defense of this country, therefore, I've done more than talk about it. You seem quick to dismiss my SERVICE to this country, yet you've never stated for the record your contribution. Now you see why I submitted the Xomblurb on Tough Guise. Some of the most vocal supporters of the Neocon Agenda for this country have made little or no contributions to the country themselves. Until you have personally done something for this country, your challenges and rhetoric will remain just as empty as the leader of your party. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

If you don't like how the country is being governed, why don't you do something about it? Other than just spout all your venom and hatred? Put up or shut up! To read my posts and articles click here: http://www.xomba.com/xombyte/lmorovan

When did I ever say that I was running for office?

Your nonsensical partisanship aside, lmorovan, what does what I said in my last comment have anything to do with what you just posted? Nothing. Nada. Zip. I can see your frustration, however, because you can't fathom why someone who served in uniform and who has been a Republican Party member since 1986 would take issue with the current state of the union. I woke up and chose to find the path that leads to the greater good instead of disengaging my critical thinking ability and parroting partisan bluster. In case you are truly that ignorant of history, the Nuremberg Trials of Nazi war criminals set the legal precedent that "just following orders" is no defense. Your belief that you should follow the political leaders of this country--right and WRONG--won't hold up to legal challenge much less an ordinary sniff test. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Funny

I don't see anybody siding with the enemy. Well, I understand how you could interpret it that way, given how you seem to be prone to regurgitating the standard, tired, old right wing rhetoric. It's probably not your fault. Some people just aren't strong enough to shake off the herd mentality.

You can't even control your negative impulses, yet you seem to pretend to have what it takes to run a country? LOL. Delusion of grandeur comes to mind. You are pathetic. To read my posts and articles click here: http://www.xomba.com/xombyte/lmorovan

So, if your mother committed genocide, you would say that the law was wrong and that she should get a pass? If your mother shot someone in full view of thousands of witnesses, you would say that she shouldn't be prosecuted? There is a difference between "defending" one's country and being interested in one's country being right or being put right. Shame that you don't know the difference. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
