US Constitution in Critical Condition

US Constitution in Critical Condition

Looks like our 2nd Amendment Rights are up for grabs as the Supreme Court is deliberating weather or not the second amendment was originally intended to allow militias to bear arms or individuals. (Funny, this wasn't questionable for over 200 years but all of a sudden, we need to clarify?) I don't think so.

If they rule to ban private gun ownership, it will be the final nail in America's coffin. You disarm the people and it will throw the gates open wide in this country to the absolute end of liberty.

You can thank gunman, Robert A. Hawkins of Nebraska for this current need for the supreme court to judge our right to bear arms. Mr. Hawkins's foolish choice to take an assault rifle and murder 9 people, including himself in an Omaha mall earlier in 2007 was covered throughout the media. However during the time that this tragedy occurred the only news outlet that reported anything about the supreme court reviewing our right to bear arms (Perhaps the most important facet to this story.) as a result of the incident was found on a BBC news website.

Sadly if you really want to read about what is going on in our country you must rely on external sources.

The next law being jammed down our throats will be the mandatory micro stamping of bullet shell casings to better track and identify whom is responsible for a shooting. Although this sounds like a good thing, I am sure that there is a second or third agenda we are not being told about.

Manchurian Candidates

I've always been curious about the true psychological profiles of people who shoot other people in a high profile manner. After Columbine, I began to believe that our own government has "volunteered" a few dozen individuals to participate in a severe behavior modification program that causes them to "snap" on command and commit politically expedient crimes. At the very least, our government sets the stage for this type of thing to happen. The Columbine shooters had been on Ritalin for a few years prior to the shooting. Ritalin has been and is being forced down our children's throats by government mandate for years now and we are already looking at compulsory vaccination on pain of losing our children due to "negligence". I wonder if the whiners in the media would be calling for bans on farm implements if someone were to go on a stabbing spree with a pitchfork. The victims would be just as dead, but it's not the killing with the pitchfork that they can't stand. It's the idea that we common peasants would have the audacity to insist on self-defense and the ability to question the orders given by our so-called superiors. Oh, and note to the gun grabbers. Saying guns cause crime is like saying spoons cause obesity. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
