The USS Howard, a United States Navy destroyer is monitoring a hijacked Ukranian cargo ship, Faina, carrying 33 Russian T-72 tanks, ammunition and spare parts destined for Kenya. The pirates are asking for a ransom of 35 million dollars from Kenya for the release of the vessel and it's crew.
