The United States finshed off the 2008 Beijing Olympics undefeated as the U.S. Men's Basketball Team won the gold medal outscoring Spain 118-107.

For the US team, this was the closest score of the Olympic games with Spain delivering a strong performance on both offense and defense against the American team of superstars.

Dwayne Wade led the scoring with 27 points including four three-pointers. Kobe Bryant scored 20 points, hitting all three of his 3-point attempts. LeBron James posted 14 points while Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony each scored 13.
